We had a hand in the following projects:

Camp Skookum (2010)

Camp Skookum Interactive

Currently working on an Alpha release.

Camp Skookum is an exciting virtual world for kids to explore various camps, play games and enjoy a safe environment for chatting.

Our role here is ongoing as the entire programming team for the Alpha release, to be integrated down the road to work with their future in-house team. This game is very large, and incorporates many custom developed systems. The avatar system is top notch, the engine is efficient, the min specs are low, the art is very high end and the experience is very fun.

Website not yet public.

Ultimate Tarneeb (2010)

Ultimate Tarneeb

Still in early development.

Tarneeb is a popular card game, similar to Hearts. This version lets you play online with a customized avatar, or against a sophisticated A.I.

Our role here was to develop the avatar system and online store using both Flash and Flash Builder (Flex). The avatar system here simply swaps out one part for another to take advantage of Flash's ability to tween animations. The store is build with a mix of MXML and Flash components, with multiple working states and a refined user experience.

Edutainment Systems (2009)

Edutainment Systems

Released game.

Edutainment Systems will be an integrated adventure game system and storybook writing wizard for players aged 6-10.

Our role here was to provide consultation, technical documentation, design documentation, early game engine testing and artistic storyboarding.

Website not yet announced.

TokiWorld (2009)

TokiWorld

Closed Beta.

TokiWorld is a virtual playground for kids. It takes isometric representations of real world cities and plays with the idea of "what would happen if the ecosystem were polluted or cleaned?".

Still in Closed Beta, Steven worked as an employee on this project to setup the game framework, engine, pipelines and systems. The avatar system here is quite extensive, storing the complete avatar timeline information into an array for item swapping before the swf is compiled for quick load times. Built using SmartFox Pro, RoR, MySQL and AMF.

In addition to Steven's work, the team was hired here to build the networking for a remote multi-player balloon race.
